  • Confirmation = We require that you authorise us, or opt-in, for us to contact you back and to store those details as long as is necessary to provide our services to you, or until you request otherwise

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) comes into force on 25th May.

This regulation gives many companies the opportunity to review the way they hold your data.

Here at Big Phil Computers we collect data such as your name, addresses, email and phone numbers for the purposes of supporting your Computer Support needs.

We have not and never will sell on data to any third parties.

We feel we treat your data as if it were our own!

We keep no Payment Card Details at all in fact we only take Payment by Card if you cannot pay us by any other method.

Bank transfer being the method of choice.

The Right to ask for a copy of your data

You have the right to ask for a copy of your data.

There is no charge for this service and we have up to 30 days to respond to the data request.

We reserve the right to make a reasonable charge for additional copies of information that has already been supplied.

The Right to be forgotten

You have the right to request your data be removed from our database systems if you feel it is no longer necessary for us to hold the data.

We do not collect or store financial information on our website. Instead we may use a third party check out service to conclude any financial transaction. We currently use [checkout method], which are secure and reliable.

Third party intermediaries

Big Phil Computers verifies the credit card information given by you through a 3rd party clearing company “PayPal”. This clearing company is solely a link in the distribution chain, and do not store, retain, or in any other way use the information they obtain from us.

Mailing List

A visitor may wish to subscribe to our mailing list without creating an account. If a visitor chooses to than can unsubscribe here by entering their email address and pressing unsubscribe [Link to unsubscribe.html] . The details will remain however true/false check we store determines if you should be notified.
